Community Profiles
Christian, Daviess, Fayette, Graves, Hardin, Jefferson, Kenton, and McCracken Counties are the Kentucky counties currently involved in the RCCW initiative. These counties were identified as having especially high rates of youth of color in out-of-home care compared to the child population.
In each community, DCBS and KYA are engaging community members in developing and implementing strategies to reduce the number of African-American youth entering out-of-home care and increase the number exiting out-of-home care.
